About the National Society of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants

The National Society of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants is the only organization which exists to represent the Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants (VBAs) in a positive, professional manner to Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. VBAs can be found throughout the United States.

In previous years, Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants were left on their own to market their VBA businesses to Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. For the most part, Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys did not know the VBA industry existed even though VBAs have been working with a small number of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys since 2005 when the bankruptcy law changed. Some, even before then.

Vikki Watanabe, President of NSVBA, decided that a professional association is what the VBA needed. Currently, the NSVBA has 50 members working simultaneously with several attorneys preparing Consumer Bankruptcy petitions. As members of NSVBA, they receive ongong VBA training to hone their skills and stay up to date on the VBA industry.

NSVBA members are a diverse group of seasoned professionals. Some with minimum to extensive legal backgrounds with varying degrees of education and corporate environment experience.

Our members are Independent Contractors who run fully committed, legitimate businesses and yet, together, are part of a professional organization that is run by a working VBA, Vikki Watanabe.

NSVBA is quickly being recognized by Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys nationwide as the organization whose members are professionals who have assisted new attorneys grow their law firms. Additionally, they have been instrumental in assisting seasoned, full staffed Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys maintain a smooth workflow by stepping in during unforeseen circumstances.
