VBA Benefits for Bankruptcy Attorneys
VBAs Enable Attorneys to Handle More Cases in A Cost-Effective Manner!
Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants are skilled professionals who prepare petitions under the new BAPCPA Act of 2005 and under the direct supervision of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. VBAs make it possible for attorneys to handle more cases without hiring additional personnel.
VBAs are prepared with their own licensed bankruptcy software. Additionally, they provide their own equipment, i.e., password-protected laptop or desktop computer, high-speed Internet connection and any other required equipment and supplies.
The goal of the VBA is to provide an efficient service where the attorney does not pay for lost time due to unforeseen circumstances.
VBAs will provide the service of Client Intake interview if requested.
VBAs are Independent Contractors who run fully committed, legitimate businesses and as such, have their own individual Service Agreements.
Most NSVBA members have 5-20 years experience in the corporate environment enhanced by their experience in various fields as Independent Contractors.
The backgrounds and advanced education levels of VBAs vary and may include positions in Finance, Television, and Administration, with such titles as Vice President of Finance, General Manager, Consultant, and Notary Public.
These VBAs bring experience in real life situations and can be depended on to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality within your law firm or sole practice.
